I was a little leery purchasing a umbrella stand that was more expensive than my umbrella itself. However I'm am extremely pleased with product. Holds down my umbrella on a second story windy deck very well. That being said I don't leave the umbrella open on extremely windy days. It is not difficult to move around and I also believe it will hold up well to the weather. Would purchase again.

This base is a must if you are concerned about wind taking your umbrella..It is super heavy, but still liftable & easy to maneuver. It is very neutral in color which is a bonus, so it matches whatever color umbrella you choose to purchase along with it. Very sturdy so you don't have to worry about anyone including animals bumping into it & knocking it over. This is an absolute must have item if you love the outdoors, but don't want to get a sunburn!

Stabilized our large umbrella very well. Our previous stand was not large enough. This stand goes under a table. I would recommend for large umbrellas. Quick ship. It is heavy. Glad shipping was free.
