we have experienced a seriously rainy summer. i put this out towards the start of summer and my pool toys are still intact. there is a lining inside the cover that keeps rain from coming it. its gorgeous and highly functional

This is referred to as small in the description, but it certainly holds more than you think. I've put 2 4' swing cushions, 4 wicker chair cushions, 4 barstool cushions & 4 throw pillows & it's still not full. Would have given 5 stars if there were a latch to keep lid secure. But I placed potted greenery on top & it keeps it closed & looks pretty behind my patio sectional.

I'd buy this again! Very well made and sturdy!

The storage chest is a nice size with a lid that stays up. The chest does not protect well from the rain so it seems more suited for indoor pool use than outdoor unless you don't care if the contents get wet.

This was a surprise for my husband. I had no problems putting it together. The directions say it takes two people but it did it alone. In fact, it was so easy that by the time I received the delivery confirmation email from Great Offer Stock the bin had been in the yard for two hours already. It is very sturdy. We opted to leave the liner out since we figured the contents will get wet outside anyway. The pneumatic hinges work really well. The lid opens easily and stays open, and when we close it it stays closed. This bin is very attractive and goes well with the expensive patio furniture we have.

Easy to put together. Great size, matched all my other patio furniture. Looks great and holds most of my cushions.

It is a bit big, but in a good way, and it keeps everything stored. The only part I don't like is that the top tends to open on it's own, so I have to keep a weight on top until I figure out a way to attach a latch to the front of it. Also, right after it rains, a little water will drain in the basket when you open the top, but nothing to detrimental.

I don't usually write reviews but I'm really happy with this box. It looks great. Fits that chair cushions of our 4 piece chair set with fire place. The lounge chair cushions don't fit this one. I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. We are in New England so we did put it away for the winter of course.

Easy set up, but make sure you do the first step right.

I didn't really study the measurements before purchasing, but this thing is HUGE! Despite it's much greater than expected size, I love this storage. It holds all my decorative cushions and most of the seating and back rest cushions for seating for eight! It doesn't fit on the deck, but fits under on a covered patio adjacent to the aforementioned seating area.

top liner collapsed after first rain. Interior liner (fabric) deteriorated within 6 months. Considering this is an outdoor box, it is remarkable poorly constructed to actually BE outdoors.

This looks great...but if it rains...it pools on lid..then when you open...it runs into the items stored.

I intended to use this storage box on my front porch for patio cushions and to put lightweight decorative items on top, but decided to use it instead inside my home. It's very big and roomy and will be used for storing blankets, etc. in my utility area. Make sure you have the sides correct before assembling - you can't just choose which side the "pull handle side piece" will go on. It wasn't difficult for two to put together. One reviewer seemed to state the the liner didn't fit the box but I didn't find this to be the case. The liner sticks on via velcro on the edges to match velcro on the inside edge of the box, and filled the entire box.
