This is a pretty heavy screen. It's pretty and appears well made. I picked this one to put over a permanently affixed glass door on my fireplace. The reason for this is to keep my granddaughter from touching the glass door. This screen can be placed far enough away from the glass so she won't get burned if she touches this screen instead.

This Christopher Knight fire screen is beautiful and elegant. We have additional wrought iron accents in our family room and this piece brings it all together. As you can see from the picture, the screen does not block the view of the flames.

I was super excited when this screen came. Then I opened the box :( The top of mine had two large dents, and the welding work was sub-par :( The rounded features on this looked like they were formed with pliers. They were rough and not rounded at all. The welds did not match up, and one of the hinges was malfunctioning too. I was super bummed because I REALLLY wanted this to work. I have been looking at fireplace screens and reading reviews for a while. I thought this would fit my exact needs. It would have too...except for the poor workmanship demonstrated on it. So sad I had to return it, especially because I lost the shipping cost in the process. Take caution when ordering :(

I love this fire screen. ...and it only took a couple of days to arrive. I have a fire place in the living room and my dogs are always around it. It scared me to not have a screen on it. I looked at SEVERAL different screens but I loved this style and I seem to always lean towards Christopher Knight items!! Looks amazing!!

Perfect for keeping my small children out of my fireplace! I have set up a mirror and candles in the fireplace instead of having a real fire and this just finishes the look I was going for. It is heavy and made with high standards. You will not be disappointed with the quality of this piece! Also, it comes put together!!! So there is no assemble which for me is a blessing because it seems everything g I order I end up having to assemble. This is absolutely gorgeous! So glad I purchased this!

I purchased this screen for my living room fireplace. It really looks awesome. I wanted a fireplace screen that is more contemporary than traditional. This screen fit the bill. It is sturdy and stands up well. Such a pretty design!

This is a beautiful, heavy duty fireplace screen. It is even nicer in person than the photo shows. It extends out a good amount from the fire which I like for safety reasons. I love the beautiful scroll work and it has handles at the side for easy carrying and removal so you can access the fireplace box for cleaning or reloading. It is of good quality and should last for a long time. I feel like we received a product that was well worth what we paid for it.
