Great Chair We like the chair and have had no real issues with it. The seat is set back a little farther than we would like but a pillow behind the back is enough to address that issue. This was easy to assemble and looks great.

Footrest sprung so tightly it will not stay down Imagine hauling this box by yourself all the way up your steep mountainside yard after you have removed an interior door so the box will fit inside the hallway. Unpack and assemble it. Then have a seat. I am 5'9" tall with a 33" inseam, but still found the seat portion to be too high as my feet almost dangled from the floor. I reached around the width of the chair and the padded arms to get to the plastic handle so I could pull it out (no easy feat). The footrest sprang up readily. Okay. A few minutes later the dog decides he needs to go outside so I push down on the footrest, expecting to push it into place with my calves. No way! The footrest on my chair was sprung so tightly that I had to stand up, "walk" the footrest back with my calves until I had it within reach of its place, then kick it with my bare heel until it locked. I get up and down frequently, especially when I first get home from work, and I had to do this every time for the two days I gave it a try. It never got easier. I was strong enough to haul the 126 lb box into the house, but not to get up from the chair without an extreme amount of effort. Great Offer Stock will give me a full refund, but I had to spend nearly two hours today reversing the whole installation process and getting the box back into my truck so I can haul it back to my office tomorrow for UPS pickup. Obviously not all the chairs are like mine, but consider my experience when making your choice.

I think this chair was built for tall people. Bought this chair for me I am 5'2". But I am to short for it. When I sit in it my feet don't touch the floor. So it's not comfortable to me. Guess that's what happens when you buy on the internet instead of going into a store to try it out. On the other hand my husband loves it. He is 6' . Seems pretty well built.

Easy Assembly! It says "assembly required" but don't let that put you off! It comes in one huge box in three pieces with easy and excellent metal braces and the pieces slide right in - you can do it in two minutes. I like it! My friend just asked me where I got it because he said he liked it!
