LOVE THIS! This is my first patio furniture I have ever purchased. It came with clear assembly instructions. It took about an hour but that is to be expected. It is very comfortable with the cushions provided. I purchased an umbrella for it and it goes nicely.

Nice, full looking, easy to assemble I wanted a nice place to sit in my yard when the kids play. We also like to have campfire at night. The adults never had a comfortable chair available. I needed something heavy looking because my yard is large and something on the lighter side would get lost. This is a nice, full, easy to put together piece of outdoor furniture. First, I followed the advice on the box. Then I fully read and understood the directions. Next I checked all the pieces and finally began assembling. It went smoothly. Less than an hour. Read the part list and Use something underneath the piece, as advised in the directions, when assembling. Only the side panels are labeled for instruction. It's important to understand how the pieces should line up before you tighten screws. I love this piece because of the low cost, easy assembly, good looks and cmfortable seats with the convenient table.

Good product, bad instructions The chairs are sturdy and comfortable, and look good in the patio. Assembly is easy when working with another person, but the instructions are badly written. In some steps, the instructions refer to "short screws", when clearly the long screws are needed, and the descriptions of the parts are incomprehensible.

Christopher Knight adjoining chairs It took my husband two hours to put together one side of the chairs because they were not aligned. Nice piece of furniture hard to put together.

Good Sturdy Set The set is very sturdy and the wood finish is very appealing. The only drawback is the cushions which looked like cheap plastic pads. I will have to purchase some more cushions that are more in line with the quality of the set.

Directions are incorrect I bought another Christopher Knight Chair set for my rental property and, because of it's durability and beauty, decided to buy another one for my home. Once put together it's strudy, cleans easily, and looks great. That being said, the directions are wrong. The directions in the prior set I purchased were also wrong and I wrote to the company to let them know of the issue and exactly where they were incorrect. Not a word was changed from over a year ago. If you follow the directions it will take you approximately 2 hours to complete assembly (because you need to take the whole thing apart and use intuition). So fair warning - wonderful product but terrible directions.
