Stunning little chairs These chairs are absolutely stunning in navy. The velvet is soft and luxurious. The buttons appear to be secure, and the stitching on the two I received isn't visible as others have mentioned. They are small, which is exactly what I needed for side chairs in my home office; however, I can understand why some have said they are too small for dining room chairs. They seem to be sturdy, of good quality, and comfortable -- my husband, who is 210 lbs. and approx. 6' tall, sat down in one and immediately said, "ooooohhhh, feels good on my tushie" (he said this with humor but his assessment was honest). Mine won't get much regular use as home office side chairs; so, I can't speak to how comfortable they would be for long periods of being seated, but they seem like that wouldn't be a problem. I really love these chairs. I just wish I had more places to put them because I'd definitely buy more.

Cute but Small I really love these chairs. I got them to replace a set I have already... and I thought these chairs would be a little bigger. But, they are very, very small in size. It's more like chairs for a nook area... not for a formal dining room, or even for a big table. It's smaller than the average chairs at Pier 1 Imports & Pottery Barns (my old set I'm replacing is the from Pier 1). With that said, they are still very comfy, and very good in quality. They look very good... I like the style so much, I'm keeping them... but I'll just be honest and let you know that they do run small... But this look cannot be matched elsewhere, so I'm keeping it :)

Wonderful accent chairs I purchased these chairs as accents in my Master Bedroom. I wanted something romantic with a vintage flair, but they would also work well with anyone decorating with anything except ultra-modern, utilitarian, or industrial style. They are a good size to place in a corner with a small table, in an entry way, as accent chairs in your formal areas, and even would be a nice touch in a dressing room or bathroom. I would not purchase these chairs if they are going to get a lot of "sitting" time, but for those occasion when you are sitting for company, or sitting down to tie your shoes, they are ideal. I don't think I would put them in a dining room, but if you want a "café" feel, they would be perfect. The fabric is soft, without flaw, the buttons seem stable and the upholstery well sewn and in good condition. The finish on the legs (antique oak) is a very vintage looking finish. Do not run scared because it says oak, it is not your grandmother's oak cabinets. They feel more stable than I thought they might, they shipped promptly and arrived to me within just a couple of days of the order. Love them, I wish I could add a note in three years and tell you how they hold up. I would recommend these to any friend or client, even the high-end ones. Enjoy!

Great Set for the Price! The chairs are a great deal for the price! They are a little darker than the picture, but otherwise the description and picture is accurate. I should note that they are by no means large dining room chairs; I purchased them for my small, round kitchen table, and they go great! One other thing: I spilled coffee on one of them, and used a very mild stain remover to clean it.. and some of the gray color of the velvet faded! I used a very mild cleaner, one that I've used on velvet products previously, but was still shocked to see the color on the seat changed. It's not a big deal for me, hardly noticeable (I doubt anyone else can even see it) but I wanted to included that in my review for other spill-prone people who are considering buying these chairs. I do really love them though; great buy!

Nice for the price, but small in scale The quality of this chair is comprable to those national stores that import their goods from abroad. It's not anywhere near ot the quality of that other place that makes reproductions of old furniture and hardware (and that company outfits all my furtniture, typically). For the price, you will be hard pressed to find anything near as nice - but they are very demure in size keep that in mind. More of an apartment sized dining table, not for your estate table! I'm very happy with the 4 I purchased, and they arrived 36 hours after I ordered them! The distressed wood leg has a nice finish.

These chairs are beautiful!! Look very expensive! I was very happy when I opened the box and saw these chairs. The other reviews said they were miniature, but the are a very normal size. Fabric is soft and the exact color as shown on-line. They look great with my new dining room, and just pull everything together as an urban chic style. These chairs can be used with any style!! A keeper!!
