Casa Cortes Surveyor Tripod Table Lamp (Set of 2)

I bought this two Tripod lamps for my son years ago, still working well they are very sturdy, the loves them, he is into Vintage decor, so definitely this goes well with his house decor,

Love the look of these lamps! The problem is the feet leave scratches on wood furniture. The other issue is where the switch is to turn them on. The switch is half way down the cord no where near the lamp. So awesome style lack in functionality!!

Lamps look beautiful, are sturdy and nicely adjustable for height. However a few design flaws. The on/off switch is about 18" from the plug in. This means you might have to reach far behind a desk or table to turn on/off. The switch should have been placed closer to the lamp, not plug. There are also metal nubs at the bottom of the 3 posts which could scratch your furniture. Manufacturer should put clear covers over to avoid. Not a deal breaker, otherwise we are pleased with the lamps.

These look nice but they fall over pretty easily. Also the on/off switch is a toggle switch on the cord, not on the light which is a pain. Also the adjustable screws that adjust the height come loose and the lamp starts to lean. I love the style and I do get complements on them. If they the switch was easier to get to I would rate them a 4. I probably would buy them again because I love the style. The shade is good quality too.

I like the look. However they are hard to keep adjusted for the same height. Probably wouldn't buy again.

The tips on the bottom are very sharp so I had to purchase some rubber furniture glides so my new side tables didn't get eaten up. My lamps had several scratches that I'll need to repair. I hate the on/off switch being far down on the cord and not right on the light socket--I may change those out too. The overall look is real nice though.

These lamps are just beautiful. Much nicer than some I looked at that were much more expensive. Wish they could use a higher watt incandescent bulb but got around that by using LED bulbs.

I like the lamps but if they had a way to lock the tripod in place I would give them 5 starts. They fall when you bump the table. They are hard to get the legs level on all sides.

I bought these for my son. He said he didn't want anything girly. He like them and they look very nice in his living room. We did have to add some felt to the bottom of the legs so his furniture didn't get scratched.

Great price. I love how they adjust for height. They came slightly scratched but I touched them up with a stain pen. They get 4 stars because the base isn't stable.
