Kelly Colleen Rating:4.0I needed this exact size, and didn't want to spend a load of cash. It was pretty easy to assemble and I painted it, so now it really rocks.

gdemouth Rating:5.0A great buffet for an excellent price. I bought 2 bases and mounted them, 1 over the other (top one is off to the side). They went together very easily. I used wood glue when putting them together to make them stronger. We are using the bottom one as a bar and the alcohol bottles fit in the cabinets nicely. The top one is for glassware. The color is beautiful and the handles are nice. The base buffet is not finished on the bottom. I had to paint the bottom of the upper cabinet with a dark chocolate colored paint. I looks very nice. I am very happy. I wanted a similar buffet/cabinet system from XXXX but it cost more than double.

Nicole M. Rating:4.0This cabinet is perfect for where I wanted it. I spray painted the inside of the glass w looking glass paint and then covered it with contact paper to protect the inside so my cabinet doors are mirrored and look great. The grey interior is a little dark and would benefit from some lighting if you wanted to use it as a curio cabinet as shown. For the price I thought this was nice quality (typical mdf type material but thick and sturdy) and my husband had no trouble whatsoever assembling it. I'm very happy with this.

Kathleen B. Rating:5.0Very easy to put together and came with all the pieces we needed. Looks great in our kitchen. The paint scratches easily so be careful. I put some white contact paper on the top since I put plants and didn't want them scuffing it up.

angelainpa Rating:3.0As the other reviewers stated, the instructions to assemble are just poor pictures. Although Mine appears red and maroon, the paint looks inconsistently spray painted on. The smell of the paint also has not disappated in the two weeks that I have had this. On the bright side, all of my pieces were included, and this buffet has proven to be sturdy. I really needed an inexpensive piece of red furniture so I am keeping this, but definitely would have returned it if it were cheaper.

mrsmrhs Rating:3.0Item came quickly and in good condition. My husband said it was easy enough to assemble. Did not pay enough attention to other postings that said sides DO NOT have (plexi)glass so dust can get inside. I was looking for a buffet style piece that I could store/display my mother's good china in. This seemed to fit the bill at a good price. Finish is not very consistent, but not an issue. Even though it gives dimensions, when I got it, it was smaller than I had hoped for. We remedied the height by getting some nice furniture legs that raised it about 5" and got some paint matched for them. That also really made the piece look more impressive. By the way, if you do this you will need 5 legs as there is a block in the middle to help with weight load distribution. It was also narrower than I needed for one of my serving platters to fit. I placed all the dishes on the bottom and serving pieces on the top as you cannot put much weight on the shelf. It is not intended for anything heavy. The cost factor was pretty much negated after buying the legs and paint, but it does look nice now. If you are looking for storage of anything heavy I would not recommend it, but it would probably look great in a bathroom for decorative towel and toiletry storage.

tireddiy Rating:4.0Took us two 3 hours to put together one of the buffets. 3 hours for the other. They went together smoothly, all parts were there except for one screw which we had a similar one on hand from other projects. I feel it takes two working well with each other to put one of these buffets together. I tried doing first by myself, but needed another set of hands about mid way through. For the second buffet we did a few things differently from the first as we put parts together but in all we followed the pages of directions. Luckily no major chips or cracks in the wood parts though a few pieces have edges that are marred from I guess pressure points being in the shipping carton. We are using these two buffets in our large bedroom turned computer room for hiding storage boxes of computer stuff and techy books, their looks work well with our painted bookcases, desks and metal office cabinets.

mary k. Rating:3.0We have only had it a few months and it's a beautiful piece but the paint finish on the front shows iregularities and discoloration. I was thinking of having it repainted but it would cost more than the piece itself.
More than simple storage furniture, buffets are often a functional and decorative part of your dining room. A buffet can operate as a sideboard, credenza, or dining room storage. You may serve food on them and then use them as decor, so it's important that they stay clean. They usually require a little extra attention because of the variety of jobs they perform, but it's easy to do if you follow these steps. Cleaning a Buffet: Clean it out. Remove all dishes and utensils from the buffet. Place them somewhere out of the way, so your work space isn't cluttered. Read More
