Is more beautiful in person is just what I was looking for. Shipping was fast and it was easy to assemble.

It's a really nice, heavy lamp, but the shade has a defect - a thin horizontal stripe in the material about a 1/2 inch from the top. Didn't send back since I'd already put the lamp together before noticing it. Overall, a nice lamp.

great quality and looks perfect in my living room. It's not super tall; more so for smaller houses

This is a great addition to our bedroom. The lamp looks really nice and high end. The lamp is sturdy and the light isn't harsh or too bright. The only downside is it is a little shorter than I was anticipating.

I like the lamp a lot but the shade came bent in a few spots, was hoping they would pop out but no luck, would return if it wasn't to much for me. So now when guest come I have the shade turned and the seam sticks out towards them, not the greatest look but I guess better then the guest seeing the dents.

This lamp is gorgeous. It is a very sturdy lamp and it looks great. I do wish it was just a little bit taller but it still is a very nice size. Definitely would recommend it and may buy another.

I did a lot of researching for a good inexpensive floor lamp, read the reviews, and despite a few complaints bought two of these. They're surprisingly heavy and well made, easy to put together, and look stunning and much more expensive! I was concerned that online the base looked small for such a tall lamp, but it's heavily weighted underneath and sturdy. The lamps stand 4'7" (55') to the top of the shade, which is perfect at either end of my couch for reading, etc., and the same height as the single lamp I replaced. My only complaint, voiced by others, is that both shades were irreversibly dented in shipping. I was able to turn the dents (one worse than the other, but both fortunately near the seam) out of sight, so it's no big deal. The shade is nicely wide of a white linen-look material bonded to a stiff plastic liner, wherein lies half the denting the problem. I have a 15-year old lamp with the same plastic lining that has become brittle and yellowed with age, and cracked from top to bottom last week as I dusted it. But I can deal with 15 years, or replace the shade if I want, though for now it's fine as is. I was a bit concerned that the packing slip on the outside of the box says, You may return most new and unopened (really?) items within 30 days, etc., etc. How do I know if the product is okay unless I open it? The Great Offer Stock website does not make this statement, however, only that all items be included and in original/new condition. Still, a bit confused. Overall, I'm very delighted with my new upscale lamps. Just wish the Chinese could figure out a better way to pack the shade beyond cardboard inserts, given the obvious sliding and dropping on its corner that one carton received despite useless tiny "fragile" icons. Still, the shades were the only issue, so I'm happy! :)

bulb provided makes shade seem yellow. change out bulb and everything is good.

Gorgeous lamp, really adds to my living room. I agree with the other reviews that said the shade is more on the yellow side rather than white, but decided to take a chance. I still really like it and it gives off a really good ambient light but might replace later down the road. It's fine as is. Very happy.

I thought it took a 3-way 150 bulb, but it only takes a 100watt CFL bulb.....and the shade glows yellow just as another reviewer has stated :(

The base of the lamp is exactly what I was looking for. It's a cute lamp for the price. I'm not super happy with the shade though because when the lamp is turned on it looks super yellow. I found another shade on amazon though that's supposed to stay white once it's on so after that I think I will be happy with it! Still cheaper than others I've looked at, even with the cost of the extra shade.

I was reluctant to order this lamp without seeing it up close and personal so I ordered only one. Once it arrived and I put it together (very simple assembly, OMG! it just made my room pop, especially with my new furniture I just bought! I immediately ordered a second lamp! The lamps look so cool and the price was spot on. Everyone who has been to my house to see my newly decorated room are in awe! They love the lamps too!
