It's OK. If you are going to be putting this in an area that doesnt involve you moving it then I think it is completely fine. I had to move mine probably 2-3 times a week and it scratched the floor and the whole thing started to come loose and fall apart. If you are also planning on putting heels on this don't! It scratches the panels and they somehow create large holes on their own. Also the panels do not go all the way from one end to the other so you will end up having shoes fall and undoubtedly have to mess with the whole thing causing it to fall apart. Works for a while. I had mine for about a year before I literally had to throw it in the trash and get something more sturdy. Probably perfect for a dorm for a year.

Excellent storage Gave this as gift to son and daughter in law, and they use it constantly. It is a great storage device for their shoes as they are in a small home with limited storage. Great buy!

Shoe solutions easy I bought two of these and each hold about 30 pairs of shoes (three pair per section). If your heels are over 5 inches, they will not fit. It is easy to put together and has a cover that drops over the front. Looks neat and very clean in the closet. It is big and will take up some closet space, so measure your closet and compare with the dimensions if your closet is small. So far very pleased!

Great Shoe Rack I felt like I was playing adult Legos when building this. It was fairly easy to assemble and looks great! It's as sturdy as you could ask for in a rack like this.

I like them I like them however not only was I missing a piece but the bars were not fitting into the plastic connectors which easier start to break. Once its p ut together though it saves a lot of space and still has more room for more shoes.
