Comes in two very large boxes for the sectional pieces and one smaller box for the ottoman. Not difficult once you figure it out, directions are not great. Looks very nice. Cushions are very firm.

This comes to your home in three boxes. The smaller box holds the ottoman. To assemble the ottoman all you have to do is to screw the legs on. The other two very large boxes contain the couch and chaise. I was kind of surprised that these two pieces don't physically get attached together, rather just pushed together. The sectional sofa also comes with two pillows which seem somewhat cheap. Assembly is pretty simple. Basically all you're doing is attaching the back parts to the seating areas on both the sofa and the chaise. The entire process probably took about 45 minutes to get everything all put together. The wood that the items are made of and the way that things are connected (several threaded screw like pieces plus bolts) seem adequate but I do wonder how sturdy this will be over time. The bonded leather is nice to look at now but I'l going to have to be very careful not to rip it...that would basically ruin the whole thing. It's a good deal but I don't expect that this will look nice after 4 to 5 years. The cushions are quite firm and they attach to the sofa via Velcro strips.
