I read every review after filtering for everything that fit what I wanted. A platform bed with leather and under $100. It came quickly, in great condition, in a beat up box. It was very easy to assemble (don't forget to put the washers between the legs and the base) because the instructions were like Lego instructions with few words and enough pictures to get it right. The wood is flimsy but once all put together it is sturdy enough. The headboard piece only has half the leather down its face with black cloth the rest of the way, and has a sewn on label which seems to indicate that it was intended to be against a wall. The picture you see shows a full leather face on the front and sides which is accurate but that is not what it looks like on the side with the pillows (in case you plan on placing it in the middle of a room instead of a wall). Also, if you are wondering about the gap everyone mentions, it is there between the mattress and the frame but thick covers and such mostly fill it. I didn't think my pillow would fall into that gap, but it did. An extra pillow shoved into the gap stops that if you have the bed on a wall. Otherwise don't move while you sleep and you'll be fine. I would like a tighter fit between the mattress and the frame and I think a headboard is probably a good idea now that I realize that I don't sleep still enough to keep my pillow on the bed without a wall or headboard. It fit my price range and it looks like the picture which is what I wanted so no other complaints.
