This is a beautiful bed that matched my existing bedroom furniture perfectly. You do have to assemble it which took about an hour following the clear instructions enclosed from the manufacturer. It is very heavy and sturdy once put together. We are very pleased with the quality, and was priced less than local furniture stores here. For those of you who may live on second floors, it comes in three very heavy boxes and takes two people to move them so be prepared to have help. Received within 3 days of ordering.
