Nice Looking....but.....
I purchased two of these Picket House Elaine nightstands, one arrived at least a full week before the second one which is a bit annoying because even though they may have been processed at the same time, they obviously where not shipped at the same time. The style and color are lovely, just what I needed. However..
the first stand was a total mess with all sorts of problems, sloppy finish, plastic drawer track put on wrong so drawer sagged preventing the bottom drawer from opening properly, split anchor wood supporting one of the legs, etc.
Having contacted Overstock's amazing customer service I was immediately given the go ahead to repack stand, was provided with a return label, and UPS picked up the package from my home 2 days later. All the while they had already started the replacement process! The rep I spoke to was terrific, very knowledgeable and professional.
The second stand arrived a few days later and it was in good shape.
Overall, the style is elegant, the color is true to photo and the satin nickel pulls don't look cheap,but if you are expecting them to be really high quality wood, look for something else. They are certainly not the cheap fiberboard with cardboard -for -a -backing type of furniture, but the wood and finish is not the best. I got them at a great price due to a sale and promotion with free shipping,so given what I paid for them, I'm satisfied.
