    No. The slats are sturdy and fit in nicely within the side rails which helps steady the mattress base. With the right size box spring, you should not have any sliding issues.

    It will not slide around if it did not slide around before. Using this bed frame will not affect the original behavior of mattress with box spring. That being said, this bed frame is designed to be used with a top mattress alone -no box spring needed. It is quite comfortable and supportive without the box spring. The intended aesthetic is one of a low and sleek profile. Using a box spring will ruin the ideal modern lower height.

    I have a box spring and a mattress and yes my mattress be sliding! The box spring don't slide but yea the mattress do! I needed a box spring bc it's very to the ground

    I does have a lot of slats i would say you could use a foam mattress. I have a box springs and mattress with mine but, does make it very tall.

    I had the same problem. I looked into getting those bed risers to add height, but the legs didn't quite fit right. I ended up with a 9" boxspring on top of the slats which helps tremendously!

  "This looks like my full sized frame I bought previously front Great Offer Stock. My version has all pieces headboard, footboard and side panels covered by faux padded leather. The description only mentions headboard is faux covered, yet it is obvious from the picture the footboard is also covered by faux leather. My question for anyone who purchased this in the queen version is "Which of the pieces are covered in faux leather, headboard only per description, headboard and footboard per picture, or all pieces like my full sized version?     No box spring is required. It is meant to be a lower to the ground platform style. The curved rib-like slats support a standard mattress more gently than a box spring.
