This bed even pleased my extremely fussy husband. He recommened we buy another one for our other child.

Took me 1.5 hours by myself to put it together. The edges at the end of the bed don't line up entirely but it's not too visible. It's sturdy and solid. Update: after just 4 months of use, this bed has fallen apart. The legs are not sturdy at all and because of the way they are angled, they got twisted around whenever I move around in bed (I weigh 120lbs) and the metal bracket gave out. I finally took out all the legs and support legs and laid it on the ground. I wish I could return it. Very disappointing.

Arrived early and easy to put together except for the bracket that connects the side to footboard which was tough to screw together because they did not line up but I finally got it to work. 1st night of sleep was very pleasing.

Ah...bought this too early. There was a huge West Elm sale a couple weeks later and I could have bought a Mid-Century bed from them for a similar price. Anyway, I'm not saying this is a bad bed. I like the design. It's not difficult to put together. The headboard has a darker beige color than what's showing in the picture but that's fine. The real disappointing part is that the siderails don't connect with the footboard that well. For my bed, the place where one siderail connects with the footboard has a little gap and they don't line up seamlessly, no matter how you try to adjust the connection. Sadly this is probably the first thing people notice about the bed when they walk into the bedroom. BTW, I received damaged siderails at first. But Great Offer Stock was able take care of that by sending me replacement parts for free. The whole process took some time but I'm satisfied with the overall customer service. They are usually pretty good at this part.

I received a full bed when I ordered a queen. Customer service argued that I ordered a full and said I must pay shipping if I want to return. I'm very disappointed that this was the last one in stock as well. I will not be ordering any furniture from Great Offer Stock again.

Our bed didn't come with the assembly manual (seems to be a theme of missing/damaged parts from Overstock's warehouse - quality control?), but we were able to look up the manual on * website. It took two to put it together, maybe a few hours. A power drill is definitely recommended and probably necessary to put this together. It feels stable with about 350 pounds sleeping on it each night, no squeakiness or anything else to complain about. It looks clean and posh.

Very sturdy, beautiful, nice quality

When the package arrived it was damaged - the side board was damaged/has a waney edge, assemble manual was missing, many nuts and bolts are missing. I waited for another week for the missing parts to arrive, yet they still did not have an assemble manual for me. I am still trying to reach their customer service to resolve the damaged side panel.

It took my husband a couple of hours to assemble but it was worth the trouble. Love, the bed and the headboard looks great.

Three heavy boxes total was a lot intimidating at first, but when the roommate and I finally decided to tackle the task of assembling the bed frame, it wasn't as bad as I would have though. Less than 1.5 hours I would say, for two people, with the end result of a gorgeous bed frame! So happy about this purchase!

Pretty nice bed for the price. It's pretty sturdy and solid. Fairly simple to put together. Bought a 10" gel memory foam mattress, and it fits perfectly with no gaps showing. Headboard is higher than it looks.

Love the bed, color resembles picture and wood is a touch darker. I would have givin 5 stars, but the two side boards don't line up completely flush with the foot board. I've had the bed for a month now, no problems, seems pretty solid and enjoying it.

It's really NICE! It looks a lot like the picture. The side panels aren't solid oak; they are veneer. It seems to be pretty solid construction though. It was worth it.

So I looked at beds for a good three hours on this site before picking this one. I picked this one because it was the cutest and cheapest for what I wanted. I am so so happy I got it. It took me abt 2 hours to put together but I was also watching netflix the whole time and taking my sweet time. This was my first piece of furniture I ever bought and I love it. So easy and perfect!
