Good looking, sturdy curtain rod. All 3 sizes bought are working well and it appears they will last.

Inexpensive drapery I purchased 4 panels on sale at JC Penney and had them sewn together by a seamstress. Hung them on this rod over a sliding glass door. Nice!

Perfect match for my blackout curtains! I purchased blackout curtains that are 108" long so I was originally concerned that this rod would hold the weight. It comes with a middle bracket and works great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and appearance of this rod and my new blackout curtains and may buy them for more rooms.

Nice Rod The rod is strong and looks very nice. It came with a support bracket for the middle but the rod was strong enough that we didn't need to put it up. I liked it so much that I purchased two additional rods in different sizes to replace some of my older curtain rods in my home. Excellent buy.

This product was not 96 inches long This curtain rod was nearly a foot shorter than stated, the box also stated it was 96 inches long and it was actually closer to 80 inches. I exchanged it and the same issue.

Works well Does what it's supposed to. Even with Great Offer Stock pricing, it seemed expensive, especially when you realize the finish is painted on - but I couldn't find this style of rod any cheaper and it works great. The curtain curves around and lays flat on the wall. Added bonus that you have some adjustment capability (up to one additional inch) on the depth of the rod from the wall.

Expensive and not that friendly. Since the rods screw into the wall, you need a screwdriver if you want to take the drapes off. I have no problems with this but I think it was kind of pricey for what I received. But that's what happens when you shop late at night on the internet....

Questions & Answers
-
Q:
-
A:
The rod is attached to the mounts with a small screw. It is easy to change curtains, but curtains do not fall off. Love these rods.
-
-
Q:
"What is the depth of the rod? And is it adjustable? The description says it "projects from 3.5 to 5.5 inches". Is that referring to its depth, i.e. how much it sticks out from the wall?"
-
A:
Yes, that is the depth, which is very important if you also have blinds or sheers.
-
-
Q:
"The smaller size has a gold option, medium has a burnished gold option. Are they the same color? Assuming the gold pictured but different color names. Ordering different sizes for same room need to make sure they are a true gold and they will match. "
-
A:
I have no idea as I only ordered one rod to cover a double window.
-
-
Q:
"How much it weight? I'm going to use it as a bar to wrapping a pandant lights from ceiling."
-
A:
Have no idea how much they weigh. They are pretty strong, however, I wouldn't hang anything heavy on a rod that is expanded.
-
A:
About 2-3 Lbs. They're very light weight. What you can hang on them depends on how they're secured ie; into wall studs or into plaster board. If they're screwed firmly with long strong screws into a wall stud you can hang a lot of weight on them if they're not fully extended probably 10-15 Lbs
-
-
Q:
"Can you cut off the rod length for smaller windows?"
-
A:
No. It is pre-cut and the curved inset piece is perfectly sized for insertion and secure fit. I ordered these type of rods for my entire home, (smaller bathroom windows included), and was able to secure the right sizes for all of the various windows. Even a huge triple window "Bay" in my breakfast room. These are the best drape rods I have ever owned. The curved end feature keeps out any excess light peeking through the sides, and without having to choose or worry about rod end "finials" is a blessing, and a cost savings (due to the added purchase of this unnecessary accessory. The clean lines of the rod really showcase my window treatments!!! Couldn't be happier.
-
A:
I agree with the previous comment. There are assorted sizes that should suit your needs. I too find the curved ends great based on looks, no need for finials, and light reduction.
-
A:
Actually, Yes you can cut these but different sizes are available that should accommodate most window sizes...but if not then yes, I actually did cut one to fit a very small window and it worked fine. Just make sure that you cut the larger sized tubing at the end where the rods slide together and save the plastic insert that goes in the end, that is what ensures a nice snug fit when you insert the smaller diameter tubing.

Q:
"what is the maximum suggested weight that one rod can support without use of a middle support bracket? if can't answer without use of the middle bracket what is maximum weight rod can support? also, can the projection measurements work if you wanted to place two rod ends side by side where one projects larger and over to essentially create double curtain rods?"
-
A:
We apologize for any inconvenience, we are not provided with a maximum weight limit for this item. However, this item does feature a middle support bracket as well.
-
-
Q:
"I've noticed some rods in this style require a power screwdriver to install. What tools are needed for this particular rod?"
-
A:
Yes a power screwdriver is needed. The rod is substantial and if the drapes are also, you need to drill into a stud. But once complete you will be thrilled, the rod is gorgeous!
-
A:
I would recommend drilling a pilot hole. Place some bar soap on the screw which makes it easier to insert. With a little muscle and a pre-drilled hole, you can use a regular screw driver.
-
-
Q:
"It says it projects 3.5 to 5.5". I need to come out far enough to pass over some verticals. The current drapery rod is 4" out and gives me just enough clearance. How do I determine what clearance I have as 3.5-5.5 is a wide range. `;zz"
-
A:
Hello Diane P., the projection can be adjusted from a minimum of 3.5 inches to a maximum of 5.5 inches. If your current rod is approximately 4-inches, this curtain rod will give you enough adjustable space to not interfere with your current vertical blind set up. I hope this info helps. Thanks for shopping with us!

-
Q:
"What is the diameter, in inches, of the wall mount circles?"
-
A:
Hello iNubia, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the information you have requested is currently unavailable. You will receive an email notification once an answer is posted. Have a great day.
-
A:
I would like an answer to this question as well.
-
A:
Mine are 2 inches across the center. I've never had a rod like these! I bet that you could display hang antique quilts, they are so secure and strong metal! Mine are supporting 2 110 inch lined black out drapes!

-
Q:

-
A:

-
-

-
-
Q:
"Do you have an end bracket that attaches to the wall that will give a deeper projection? The specs state 4.5 to 5.5 inches of projection but that is the outside projection not the inside projection. I am trying to cover vertical blinds."
-
A:
Hello carolinny1, we do apologize, additional hardware is currently available for this item .Thank you for shopping with us.
-
-
Q:
"Why did you choose this product?"
-
A:
Needed a curtain rod that wrapped the curtain to the wall.
-
A:
Needed a curtain rod that wrapped the curtain back to the wall
-
A:
After I hung this rod and the same rod in a longer length, I decided that my sliding glass door needs to have the same rod.
-
A:
Looks good and good for keeping out heat and cold.
-
A:
i have five others and needed one more good product
-
A:
to hang curtains from
-
A:
I chose this curtain rod because there is a cabinet next to the sliding glass door. A rod with finials at the end would end up being too narrow because I don't have much room past the edge of the door.
-
A:
The reviews were good and the price is very good. I've been happy with Great Offer Stock products and service.
-
A:
Wanted a rounded end rather than a straight one.
-
A:
For use with blackout curtains, that should be self explanatory.
-
A:
Using on windows that have curtains that are insulated and projection is what I need.
-
A:
I picked this rod one so my blackout curtains will block out all the light. Two the projection length can be increased. I live in an appt with vertical blinds already hung. If I do not have at least 5" of projection the curtains will not fall correctly.
-
A:
It appeared to be sturdy and the reviews confirmed that.

I chose it because I bought the larger size for other windows, and they work as they say.... cut out light and help with energy. They look very nice as well!!

A:
it matched the others.
