Exactly what we were looking for...installed without issue. Light looks great through the cork covered shade. Good quality and great price.

Looks great over my dining room table. Very mid century modern. Note: when the light is on, it shines through the shade, almost appearing like the cork shade has cuts or tears in it. I think the look is neat but was unexpected after we installed the light and turned on. The picture does not show this well at all.

This lamp is made for the modern look and also bring a lot of bright light to my table. I'm satisfy with the final connection due to it was the perfect high and circumference. I can get up from my chair without any interference with the lamp. My height is 5'10" and my ceiling is 10' high. Quality is excellent and the price is right. Hope this info can help.

I saw this at a different store but was a special order. Great Offer Stock had it delivered just in time for our Thanksgiving dinner. My husband and I could not find anything cool for our 1960's ranch in our dining room. This looked amazing, and I loved how you could see just tiny bits of light through the cork. It looked really cool. So glad that I finally have a nice light fixture over our dining room table. Great amount of light comes from this fixture and we only used the large silver part directly to the ceiling plate for our ceiling height. Looks great.

Better quality. Dimmable. The diffuser makes for great light. Looking for a mid-century barrel - this is the one.

We love this light fixture. We struggled with the decision to give up the ceiling fan in our dining room, but this is so pretty that it was well worth it. It's the most expensive thing we bought in our diy dining room, but totally worth it because it's a focal point. I always look at it and think about how awesome it is!

The lamp and shade are of nice sturdy quality and easy to install. The downrod has a hinge at the ceiling connection which accommodated my vaulted ceiling. I am very happy with the quality and appearance.

I LOVE the look of this light. But, it was a pain. The first one came with a dent in the shade. Great Offer Stock customer service was great. They had it picked up and replaced within a week. The second one came and the threaded rod that keep the glass diffuser in place had defective threads. I had to go buy a new piece which was not the right length and cut it with a hacksaw to get it to fit. All's well that ends well, but it was a pain and I shouldn't have had to do it. Also, there are two seams in the cork. I wish it was only one so it could be hidden better. Great looking light.

We purchased this light for our kitchen. It puts off a good amount of light, but it's a soft lighting which I love.

Love it. What I expected to get

I wanted something rustic, but modern, for our recently purchased home in Colorado. This light fit the bill exactly! It casts a nice warm glow and the cork is really beautiful. The seams don't bother me (other reviewers mentioned them). And best of all, Overstock's price was over $100 less than two other websites! We liked this lamp so much that we ordered the matching pendant lamp and hung that in our hallway.

After having searched both in stores and online for some time I finally ordered this lighting fixture for my kitchen after reading the reviews. I couldn't be more pleased. My handyman said it was a simple install. It's very contemporary looking without being overdone and casts a beautiful glow of light. I've also got it on a dimmer switch. My only small complaint, and not Overstock's fault, is that the cork which wraps around the metal which shapes it is slightly unraveled in a few places. However, the places where it's not covered is on the underside so you can only see it if you are sitting and look up closely. This is the manufacturer's fault. Other than that I couldn't be happier with this fixture. Glad I got it when I did when it was on sale as the price was considerably higher the next day when I looked at it again online.

Looks great in our kitchen. Easy installation.

We ordered and installed two of these pendant lights over out kitchen counter and seating area. I was afraid they wouldn't give off enough light but was pleasantly surprised. They can accommodate up to three 100 watt bulbs but we dialed that down to 70 watts each. We also put them on a dimmer which is very nice for this area. We are very pleased with the quality.

It is a nice light...lots of compliments...the cork "silk screen" if you will, is pretty well done, but not perfect
