This recliner has it all. It is beautiful, comfortable and high quality. I searched FOREVER for a stylish recliner for my modern farmhouse/coastal chic home and this fit the bill! It doesn't look like a recliner which is exactly what I wanted. The nailhead trim is a beautiful touch and it's perfect for napping, reading or watching movies! I chuckled at the one other reviewers comment as I agree that NO, this doesn't sit at 90 degrees! But I laughed at that because I don't know that I've ever sat in a chair that sits at 90 degrees and wouldnt want to. Talk about awkward and uncomfortable? This sits like any other comfy arm chair out there but has the added function of reclining and the added beauty! Love love love!!!!!!!

This chair does not allow you to sit up straight at a 90 degree angle. You can not sit and read the newspaper or a book, which I find a little annoying. Also, the foot rest only hits my leg at about the half-way point between my knee and my ankle (and I am only 5'3" tall). After sitting in the chair for a while, the fact that your feet are hanging over the end does tend to get rather uncomfortable as well. The chair looks nice, and I like the size of it, but the most annoying feature is the fact that you cannot sit upright.. even holding a conversation with another person in the room, you feel like you are reclining. . it just feels weird.
