I thought transitioning my two year old to a new bed was going to be a lengthy ordeal...I was wrong. Though he helped pick out his bedding, I selected the actual bed. You cannot go wrong with this mattress, the first night he slept ALL night long (I don't think he even moved once). Since then, he hasn't wanted anything to do with his crib. I think I need to switch our master bedroom and guest room mattresses over to Aveline as well!

The foam is CertiPUR-US certified so you can be confident that the flexible polyurethane foam inside the mattress meets CertiPUR-US standards for content, emissions, and durability and has been analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratories. The mattress comes vacuum-packed and rolled to fit into an easily portable box. It takes 2 to 4 hours for the mattress to expand most of the way, and a day to expand fully. Includes one twin mattress and a removable stretch knit diamond patterned cover. Box spring or foundation are optional. Pretty good mattress for the price I purchased this as an extra mattress to have for grandkids staying over. We just keep it under our other bed & can pull out for sleepovers. I haven't slept on it, but laid on it & it is pretty comfortable and supportive. I didn't find that it had any odor after opening it from it's condensed form and giving it about 12 hrs to completely expand. I think it would be adequate for children or young adults bed, but would probably recommend the thicker 10 or 12 inch for queen or king beds.
