A Touch of Class This Art Deco Stained Glass Figural Torchiere is more beautiful in person. The picture does not do this piece justice. The two ladies are either side of the lamp are simply elegant; Their faces are very detailed and so are their dresses around the bust line. Their hair looks like it is blowing in the wind. One of the hands of each of the ladies are at their side, and the other hand of each lady is hold holding about 4 inches of delicate flowers in the front and in the back, the flowers cascade down about 5 inches almost to the waist of the ladies dresses. The flowers front are open at the bottom and are shaped almost like an open heart. After all the flowers, then the shade of the lamp begins. When the lamp is on, there is a band of red all the way around the shade with a hint of blue at the top. The colord in the middle of the lamp are shades of brown and white, which goes very well with the gold color of the lamp. The stained glass lamp at the very top has colors of a light blue, white, and yellow. Before the colors begin at the top of the shade, there is what I would call a large tear drop of amber glass just below the blue and white peaks all around the shade. The hint of yellow is in between the colors of blue and white. When the lamp is on, the colors in the shade are very beautiful. If you are a fan of Art Deco this lamp is for you. Even though it says this lamp is Art Deco, my house is done in the traditional style, and this lamp fits very well into my setting. This lamp makes a statement and is a focal point for any room.
