perfect choice for us
VERIFIED PURCHASEThis wardrobe was fairly straightforward to put together; my husband, who has done this sort of assembly before, was able to do it on his own, only needing someone to help put the doors on. We wanted long hanging space, so left out the shelves in the righthand cabinet. The finish on the wardrobe is very attractive, and it looks and feels like a quality piece of furniture. Highly recommend!

VERIFIED PURCHASEI am very happy with this purchase. I'm turning a sitting room without a closet into a bedroom.This armoire holds lots of clothes and shoes and blankets behind three doors and two very large drawers, in a beautiful piece of furniture in a cherry finish. The wardrobe arrived quickly in two large boxes, and it was packed very well, so all the parts arrived in perfect condition. The wardrobe did take a handy friend close to three hours to put together.The piece is well made, for the most part, except for one narrow strip of cheap wood which goes behind the leftmost door to fill in the gap between the left and the center doors. I understand that the strip of plywood hides the gap and allows for there not to be a center pole which would make hanging clothes on the rod more difficult. Fortunately, the strip is mostly hidden and is stained cherry to match the doors, so it isn't that noticeable unless one looks closely.

VERIFIED PURCHASEthe cabinet came packaged well, no damage to any piece even though you could tell by the outside of the box that it had been roughly handled a bit--to be fair, the boxes are very heavy and not easy to move. the quality is what was expected, not beautiful hardwood but the cabinet is solid and will be easy to keep clean with the laminate finish. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and all pieces went together smoothly. Be sure when assembling as a closet that you put the hanging bar into it's slots before you attach the top. only complaint I have, why can't they put easy-release stickers on? every piece has a letter sticker and every sticker leaves a sticky residue!

VERIFIED PURCHASEWe put the doors on wrong but that was our fault. The cabinet is sturdy and doesn't look cheap.

VERIFIED PURCHASEThis cabinet/closet is well made. The instructions for assembly were a little vague and we were shorted on some screws while given more of others. I would have like it to be lighter in the finish of the wood. But overall it is a good piece to use in our bedroom until we find one that more closely matches.

VERIFIED PURCHASEAlthough armoire looks very nice as finished product, there were no pre-drilled holes on the whole right inside of cabinet. Fortunately my husband was able to take care of this. It took about six hours total for two people to assemble.

Worth the sweat and tears
VERIFIED PURCHASEIt is high-quality and heavy wood. All the hardware and wood pieces came in tact. It was packaged perfectly as the transit was from New Jersey to Hawaii. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to putting unit together. I did most of it myself and my son assisted when I needed him. I'm not going to lie as it is the hardest furniture I've ever put together and I've put many many pieces of furniture together. I almost gave up a few times at some of the pieces didn't fit but with some patients and elbow grease it did. At the end I was extremely pleased and it was worth it. It fits all of my clothing dresses, shoes etc.
