This rug looks fantastic in my beach house. The pattern is perfect for our laid back home. The colors in the room are dark royal blue and teal with a touch of orange. This rug is a terrific complement to the furniture. I also purchased 2 - 2' X 4' rugs in the same pattern to place in front of my sofa and in front of my recliner. Even though the pattern runs in the opposite director of the large rug it still looks fine. I would definitely recommend this rug for a casual lifestyle home.
