Colors are a lovely sage green, gold and ivory. Pattern is a little more like a subtle geometric field rather than a contrasting geometric design when looked at eye-level. As seen from above or bird, it looks like picture--more geometric. Carpet sits on top of a bamboo hardwood floor and will have a round pedestal glass table with 4-red leather chairs in my office as a conference/sitting area and the leather, glass and rug colors, textures and scale blend nicely 2gether. Actual dimensions of my rug is 7'-5" x 9'-7". Really happy with purchase, almost wished I got one size bigger!
