Unbelievably Disappointed, What a Crock! Here's the problem, the fabric is wonderful, the headboard is beautiful. Buy it if you're going to put it on a full-sized metal bed frame. But if you're looking to put it on a queen, run away. The holes for the legs, that are drilled into the back of the headboard, are only 57 inches apart, while a standard queen bed frame in the United States is 60 inches wide, because a queen mattress is 59 inches wide. The math doesn't work out here, and you cannot attach this headboard to a standard queen bed frame. It's physically impossible, trust me I spent four hours of my life trying to figure out a way for it to work, and it just doesn't. So measure your bed frame. If the holes you would be looking to attached the legs to are 57 inches wide, then you should be a happy camper If you're looking to mount it to a wall, then you're good, because the actual headboard is about 60 inches wide. Otherwise, try another bed frame, perhaps one that knows how to measure, and what the phrase "fits a standard queen bed frame" means. I'm so disappointed, especially because it looked so fantastic when I opened the box, before I tried to attach it to my bed frame.

I'm prettu picky & like it I was a little hesitant about ordering this - this its a chance when you can't see and feel the material because sometimes materials can look very cheap. I ordered this and paid $XXX for it during cyber week with free delivery and thought that for this price it would definitely look cheap. I opened this and LOVE it - if you know how to dress up your bed get the right covers for it, the headboard looks stunning - great value - defiantly nicer ones out there but for big $$$ - if ur looking for style and class and nothing cheap looking - get it! I also don't write reviews but feel this will help someone

The bracket non the headboard has a slot where the screw fits...that slot can slidde in for a full or out for a queen. Same screw same bracket...just a matter of sliding it over. Hope that helps. I love the headboard...BTW!

As an interior designer, I have worked with all types and sizes of bed frames and one thing I know for sure - not all frames are alike! After over twenty years in the business, I don't see how a reviewer can say this will or will not fit yours without seeing it. That being said, I have found ways to adapt a frame, regardless of size, if you decide to attach , or we have simply attached headboards to the wall. Depending how crafty you are, you can add a bracket found at the local hardware store, add a piece of wood from leg to leg for stability as well as making a means to connect, or make your own bracket adapter out of a smaller piece of wood. I used this at a clients house in another city, so I am unable to measure the distance between the predrilled holes, but I believe one reviewer said they were 57 inches apart. You may want to measure the holes on your existing frame. My client was very happy with the queen headboard!

This headboard works for both full and queen beds depending upon the position in which you install the legs. I followed the directions, however they must have included the directions for the full. I understood the need to reverse the legs, and that made everything as it should be. HINT: Measure the distance between the holes on the legs to assure that you have the legs positioned properly before actually assembling.

It is not velvet it is a linen fabric. I didn't order the grey so I cannot speak to the color. We just had the metal mattress frame to attach to the headboard and that was very unsteady and banged against the wall and when you just sat on the bed. We installed the headboard directly to the wall instead of the bedframe so it felt much more solid and worked out very well.

I have a queen bed and we attached the headboard to the frame but it was too flimsy and banged against the wall just getting in and out of bed, much less rolling over. We took the legs off the headboard and mounted the headboard to the wall. Looks great and no more bouncing on the wall.

The height is adjustable - I have a thick mattress too. It also fits a queen bed just fine. I got the beige one and it looks great in the spare room.

I have a really thick mattress + topper and when I put Euro Square pillows on it you can pretty much only see the top border. However, with just regular queen size pillows you can see from about the second to top tufts up. And I would ignore the comment about its not fitting a queen bed, I wont lie its tight.. but it fits.

It is a truly a light Grey as others have said. However, I assume that if you have a lot of Blue in your room or Blue walls it will reflect a Blue hue if that makes sense. Also I made a comment on this a while back, the directions might be wrong for assembly as if you assemble per the directions and it doesn't fit your Queen size bed it's because the directions are wrong. The fix is to swap the legs!

Not sure what you mean by adjustable bed frame. My frame adjusts as twin or full, and the headboard is perfect for the full size. There are two sets of bolt holes for attaching the legs to the headboard, queen width and full width. If your frame adjusts to either of those sizes, it should work just fine. Just remember the assemblers rule "Don't tighten anything more than finger tight until it is all together. Then tighten EVERYTHING as much as you can."

Most likely it can... It is a thin metal and it does have two 1.5 inch slots on metal legs. You need to keep I. Mind that the metal legs would need to be adjusted if you have a baseboard. You would either need to cut the legs or base board or be creative with attaching to the wall but doable.

Two 70+ old ladies attached it to a standard, full size frame in 20 minutes. Frames vary slightly, but our only difficulty was that the diameter of the bolts provided was so close to the size of the slots in the frame it was tough to get them started. Looks great. Love it. Just don't tighten ANYTHING until it's all together. Then tighten EVERYTHING!
