This looks more vibrant in the pictures online and the design looks like it is in a muted color. In reality, the color is a maroon with beige design. So the design stands out much more. Also the rug doesn't feel soft.

I received this area rug within days after I ordered it. I'm an interior designer by trade and have used a lot of area rugs. This one has to be one of the more "eye-catching" rugs I have seen in a very long time! Very dimensional, and the price is unbelievable for the quality of this rug. One thing to note, if your sweeper has a rotating brush you may want to turn it off while sweeping as it’s not good for the rug......on a closing note horizon rug is the best company. I have bought many rugs from os that luckily have their name on it. I hope horizon can put their name on the web so people can identify easily.

This is a beautiful, thick rug. I wish there was a larger one that I could get to go on the other side of my room. The only thing is it sheds rather badly.(Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.) I never had a wool rug before, so that may be normal and maybe it will cease after a couple of months of vacuuming daily.

I love this rug. We've had it for over a week now and it's perfect. The price is right and shipping was super fast. The rug itself is nice and plush - but not too thick. I do have to say it does shed, however all wool rugs have that tendency, so only time will tell on how long. But considering its so new, it's to be expected. The colors are lovely and really 'pop' and it really helps to give my living room a nice homey feel. My dog has already tried to 'christen' it and we got to it quick enough - none sank into the rug and it was easy to clean. I say go for this rug! Wish they had a runner to match!
