If you want a brightly colored outdoor mat, this is for you. I prefer it over the Safavia(sp?) 'outdoor' rug that I bought last year. It was always waterlogged after a rain and the colors faded (badly) within a month. It was on a back patio in Michigan that received partial day sun. Anyhow, be sure to know that this 'mat' (I prefer to call it that) adds color to your patio without the fuss of trying to get it dried out after a rain AND it certainly seems colorfast. It is not soft under your feet as it's made from recycled bottles I think....but it's OUTSIDE...so that's ok. Love it.
