Pretty but delicate lights the lamps are very pretty, and they add a light airy look at the room. However they do not have a bottom, they site like an upside down wine glass so they are also very delicate, I can't imagine having these with kids around.

Beautiful! These lamps are beautiful and not disappointing to me in any way. I selected these to be placed in my living room which I am decorating with a farmhouse industrial feel. The tables they sit on are metal/wood with industrial wheels so I needed lamps that would tie in the farmhouse side of things. I have to say, I really like how it all came together. The lamps were well packaged and undamaged upon arrival and they got here quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

Pretty, modern, chic Lovely lamps. Assembly was simple. Yes, they come packed in that awful, messy styrafoam, but at least they are safe. The shades are an off-white linen. I was a little concerned about the chrome because I have a very country look. Most of my metals are oil-rubbed or antique bronze. The good thing is that you hardly see any of the chrome. I will likely change the finials, and they almost no chrome will show. I like that these lamps take a 3-way bulb, too.

the glass is clear, but it's "dimpled". The bottom is open, so it looks like a glass upside down on the table if you know what I mean..

The clean lines of the base appealed to me and it's always nice to have a set of two. And I hate shopping for shades separately and these had shades included. I wish they took a 150 watt bulb but at least they don't require a dinky 60 watt.
