This headboard looks fabulous paired with dark colored bedding. It is definitely a true grey color. I have the Madison Park Richmond set on my bed and two together look great. Buyers... the parts to put the headboard and legs together are shipped inside the back of the headboard. The assembly could have been a little smoother if the screw holes had been drilled to line up a little better, other than that this headboard looks very nice.
