This is exactly what I wanted. It is a resistant natural fiber. I have 2 big dogs and a roomba that vacuums every day. I had a different natural fiber rug before that was not handling the right traffic. That being said, it is still a natural fiber, so you will see some loose ends every once in a while. How I handle it? I tuck the loose end back and put a drop of super glue. It is seagrass, so when you get it, it will smell like hay for a couple of days. Also, it's a fresh seagrass and it definitely looks green when you receive it. You will probably freak out (like me), but give the fiber time to mature and the green will slowly evolve to a tan color. That is how seagrass behaves.
