Lamps are very pretty but they irritate me to no end. The switch is 12 inches down the cord this is how you turn the light on and off so if the lamp is on an end table the switch is down behind and it's a pain to get to it to turn on and off. The 7w base light is always on and you use chains to turn the upper bulbs on after you turn the switch on the cord. Lamps would be perfect if you only had to use the chains for off and on. I think I'll let the base bulb burn out then leave the switch in the on mode so I can control the upper bulbs with only their chains. Would have sent them back but would have cost too much.
