John Louis Home 16-inch Deep Red Mahogany Standalone Tower with Adjustable Shelves

I love this piece it fits beautifully in my new remodeled bathroom

The color is nowhere near close to the color in the pictures. We ended up returning the shelf for that reason and the quality wasn’t great either.

Very impressed with how these look and function. We needed storage in a big storage closet, but we wanted breathable shelves. They were easy to install (takes two people) and the color looks great. They look like they are made of wood. The ability to adjust the shelving heights is a plus. I wish I had these shelves in my master bedroom closet!

We installed one of these 16" adjustable shelf assemblies and glass doors as part of a complete redo of a master closet several years ago. Very pleased with the appearance and functionality. This shelf is part of a similar installation in our new house, replacing standard wire shelving.

Nice good quality real wood Tower. It came with all hardware and Instruction to build. This is good size tower and can give you approx 10 liner feet space.

Excellent units, well designed, easy to install.

Spent a week replacing drywall that collapsed from an over-loaded clothes rod that was not attached to studs. Bought this to install in my renovated closet with 24” studs. I installed two, 4” wide, 3/4” thick-strapping to install double height 6’ closet rods. Then I installed the assembled shelves assembly centered on a stud over the two rows of 3/4” strapping. Strapping brought shelf 3/4” away from wall. Warning, this was a disaster. Installed shelves, pushed back, fall out the 3/4” gap in back. The 3/4” straps do not line up with shelf wall attachment brackets. Buyer beware of this risk. David, Hollis, NH

It’s a nice shelf but we had to drill out a couple of the holes and put in our own screws because they didn’t line up. Had a few areas on it that didn’t look like it was built very well but once put together and up it looks great and is very sturdy, it’s a great match for the 12”closet system we also purchased.

I have several John Louis Home towers and shelves. These all-wood shelves are well-designed and are easy to assemble. Follow the directions precisely and with the proper tool you will have no problem.

Fits a lot of shoes!!! Very well built!! Absolutely love my new closet!
