As per other reviews, we did have a few items that arrived broken. But - we called the number provided, and within a very short time they were sent and were delivered in one piece! Very easy to work with. Love the lightness of the dishes - not heavy to serve when plated - vs heavy stoneware. The color is true to what I saw on line, and the salad/dessert place dresses up the table. I would definitely recommend these dishes!

The design on these dishes is created by green dots and gold stripes. The dots appear to be under a glaze but the gold is painted on the surface. This would surely wear off in time and not look as cheerful as they look in this picture. For some reason I expected the cup and bowl to have a design inside as well. Other porcelain I've had from China incorporates a design inside and outside. Otherwise, the sizes of the pieces were perfect--the dinner plates fit in my cupboard, the bowls are deep not shallow, the cups hold 10 oz not 5 oz like tea cups, and the salad plates were perfect for small meals, sandwiches, etc. Basically, I felt the design would not hold up, I didn't care for the appearance of the gold paint once I saw it and because of this, I would not enjoy using them day in and day out so I returned them. Still waiting for a refund.

Set is very attractive and stylish. Microwave and dishwasher does not seem to affect the pattern on the dishes.

Purchased this for my adult daughter's Christmas. She was beyond thrilled! These dishes are so unique.

These dishes are beautiful. They are a perfect mint and the gold is very soft as it is not 'real'. They are also a nice weight. The mugs are comfortable to hold. The bowls are a perfect size for soups, cereal, ice cream:) I got them for my daughter who likes mint green for her kitchen and she loves gold, so these were a perfect find. She loved them. Also nice that they are microwave and dishwasher safe. Great Offer Stock had them at great price since it was for a service for four as opposed to buying sets of four bowls, four plates, etc. I also loved their email service to let you know whey they were back in stock.

Colors in this set were pretty much the same as those pictured online. I have put them in the dishwasher about 5 times now with no issues. Please note that the pattern is not painted on the dishes before they are glazed and fired. Rather, it seems the pattered is somehow printed on the set, as you can feel that the pattern is slightly raised from the smooth, non-patterned areas, especially on the dots and squares.
