Coco was my first "grown up" perfume that I purchased when I was in my late teens. I stopped wearing it and gave it away because the scent reminded me of a boyfriend that I had broken up with. Recently, after 25 years, I decided I was ready to give lovely Coco a place in my life again, and I have to say that though I instantly remembered the scent, the EDT disappointed me. It didn't have the wow factor that I remembered, so I decided to compare the EDT with the EDP by spraying one on each wrist, and found there is a big difference between the two. The EDP is richer, more complex, more complete than the EDT, and it was the beauty that I remembered that I just wanted to inhale deeply. The EDT was gone within an hour, while the EDP stuck around the entire day (after just one spray). I think EDT has a place for some scents, but not for this one because they are so different and because this is meant to be such a luscious scent. The beauty of this scent needs to be experienced in it's entirety. To me, using Coco EDT is like having spaghetti without the sauce. Yes, it's lighter, but really, what's the point?
