I was interested in trying this scent because a lot of people compared it to Polo Blue, and for the volume that you get for the price, it is a steal. When I first tried it, I instantly thought of my Acqua Di Gio Profumo.UPDATE: After wearing it a bit, it doesn't smell like ADG Profumo. It has a spicy aquatic opening like it, but it settles down into the vibe that polo blue sets. It was nice and aquatic but had a nice spice to it. Regardless, It is a beautiful scent. It has the aquatic feel, with some fruits, musk, and spice. To me, it is a little sweeter than your typical aquatic, but not sickly sweet. On myself, I usually limit to 3 sprays and that creates a pretty strong bubble. Out of the 18 bottles of cologne I have, I will definitely be reaching for this one. For the price, 6.8oz is well worth it!
Acqua di Selva has been around for a long time and I think it is one of the best colognes both for men and women. It's not "in your face" (or nose) but has a subtlety that people will ask "what are you wearing?" ... and if it was good enough for Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, need I say more?
I had purchased this same large size bottle of Acqua Di Gio before. I didn't ck. the old bottle which was a parfum, not the eau de toilette so this doesn't last the entire day like my last purchase (my fault). It was a great price and he still smells great!
