I really enjoy the fragrances from the Molinard house. Miss Habanita is no exception. The notes are sweet, but less gourmand sugary and instead the scent leans more towards a peach champagne effervescence. The base note is a light musk. In the middle there's definitely some wood florals. Very light, very bubbly fragrance. It is sophisticated in a late evening soiree type of way. Imagine a stunning woman in silk satin pajama pants with a strappy camisole and high heeled stiletto sandals languidly stretched across an italian leather couch flirting with some dashing stranger circa 1979 . It has a vintage feel to it with all of the sexiness of a retro cigarette ad with none of the health warnings.
I wouldn't even say that this is a 1990s perfume (when YSL champagne was created). It IS more the 1970s, but the 1970s we fantasize about, not the actual experience. In actuality, YSL Champagne was a perfume with a vintage feel to it as well.
If you like the concept of a sweet peach champagne floral musk scent, then you'll enjoy this as well. Good sillage, nice longevity.
