This is a superb, complex, and multi-dimensional vinegar.
The first time I tried it was in the middle of a dark, bitter, sub-zero winter and it brought back a rush of summer memories and flavors.
Use it instead of wine vinegar to brighten your salad dressings. Mix with a little extra virgin oil and freshly mashed avocado to make a tasty unforgettable dressing for salads, pita bread stuffing, and on top of grilled veggies. It's incredible on potato salad. Use it on everything instead of using regular vinegar or just plain lemon juice.
This blood orange vinegar really enhances the flavor of all kinds of foods, fresh or cooked, meat or poultry or vegetables. It's too pricey to use as a marinade on larger cuts of meat but do try a little on chicken breast filets.
I can't begin to explain how fresh and sparkling the flavors are in this great vinegar. Try it. But now I have to say *beware* because you will never want to be without it again! I have put my order in for regular delivery so I won't be without it.
