For the past 18 months, I've been using Windows 8 and regretted every minute of it. I didn't like the new HP computers with Beats Audio, it artificially processed the sound, which I did not want as I am radio producer and rely on purity of sound. So I needed to "downgrade" operating systems because "newer isn't always better" and started looking for Windows 7 computers. Very few retailers sell Windows 7 computers and I turned to greatofferstock.com for help. I was pleased to see a lot of options and then chose this one. I have zero regrets now. I've been using the computer for three weeks and have had no issues with it. It starts up and shuts down fast, runs very stable and does everything I need it to do. I transferred all my files over with no problem and installed software easily, in fact with all that I needed to do, it got done faster than I expected.
I have bought quite a few electronics items on Great Offer Stock over the years and have always had good luck with them. I was surprised to find that this computer has a floppy drive on it. It's basically a waste of space to me as it's "old technology", but it there are two expansion bays on the front and lots of available slots in the back. This computer is a great workhorse with lots of USB ports and audio connections. The size is slightly bigger than the newer Windows 8 computer it is replacing, but with all the available options on it, I can understand why.
Yes, I highly recommend this computer. Easy to use for novices and a great machine for experienced users. Don't go with Windows 8, stay with Windows 7, you'll save yourself a lot of frustrations!
