I was somewhat impressed by how much the pictures looked like those printed on paper. Naturally some resolution was lost because it was fabric, but not as much as I had anticipated. The base color of prints is determined by the color of the thing they're printed on. In this case the fabric, and it's not stark white so the whites aren't quite white and very pale colors are also affected by this, but I'm nitpicking for this sort of process. All in all it gives a good result.
Also, the ink did not run or wash out in the rinse step. I can't speak for long term fade resistance but after the initial prep is complete the pictures look good -- better than I expected.
