I would have given it 5 starts; however, it does not come with a "how-to" manual. If you purchase the ready made products from the design store, you will not have a problem but I bought it to create personal "word die cuts"; however, when I initially tried to do one, I did not know how to connect the words and had to call technical support. I was glad to find a class on craftsy.com that teaches you how to do word die cuts, etc.
I purchased the cricut and scan and cut, and the "print and cut feature" did not work at all. I returned both of them. I completed the calibration technique but it did not work. I haven't tried this feature with this machine (yet), but I did read a comment of a women experiencing a problem with the scan and cut, so perhaps all three companies need to improve that feature.
