It's easy to use.
I have never owned a sewing machine. After looking up Consumer Reports on what to get, I went with the Brother. They didn't offer the "Best Choice " on so I compared what was available with similar functions. I didn't need 250 stiches. The model I did get has 50. Plenty for why I needed. The manual is easy to understand but if you have never used a sewing machine you may be looking up a lot of the terms. After setting up the bobbin and threading it, I was sewing in a few minuets. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos to help learn. My first project is coming along nicely. Even if you can tell it wasn't made by a pro, I am satisfied with it.
