I have been a 2XL size for nearly 40 years. I recently purchased a winter coat by Caterpillar and intentionally ordered it as a 3XL so as to allow layered dress and it worked out great. After reading reviews on this coat and believing the one about sizing more than the other one, I ordered this is a 4XL. It is a snug fit with just a shirt under it and I would not want it any smaller. A 5XL is available but I would have concerns that the arms might be too long as the 4XL is slightly long as is. The zipper pulls are quite cheap and don't hang well on the fake chest pockets (it does have real chest pockets as well, inside and out) and are very lightweight. The snaps are of a cheap quality material. The stitching seems quite nice as does the quilted lining. The leather seems of very good quality and is very uniform quality. The chest pockets inside the coat a quite nice and deep. The waist pockets are sufficient though they could be a little deeper for larger hands. All-in-all the jacket is a very nice buy if you get it a size or 2 larger than your normal size.
