    I almost returned these because the calf part of the boot was MUCH wider than shown in picture. I could fit both arms down inside while on. I did not order the wide size. I did buy a half size larger so that socks could be worn. When I decided to wear them on our trip to the mountains, they seem to be comfortable, but not surefooted. Not much tread on bottom to give friction when walking on hill or rocks. They do look cheaply made. I will keep them and just buy others that are more form fitting.
