This was a beautiful boot, of course, it's Prada. The 6 was just too big. I usually wear a 5 1/2, but sometimes I can get by with the 6. I would say this shoe runs on the big side. I didn't find it to be very comfortable, either, but that was just because it was a high stiletto. If you have no problem with high stilettos, then it probably would be fine for you.
What I did not like was Great Offer Stock.com's return policy. I received these on a Tuesday and I was going to ship them back the next day. Come to find out that you have to request a RMA # and it can take 24-48 hours to receive it. Well, by Friday I had not received it and I called and spoke with a supervisor who said I would have it by the end of the day. That did not happen. On Saturday, I received a ridiculous questionnaire about the shoes: Did I wear them? Was the tag still attached? Did I have the shoe box and all its contents? plus some other questions. I answered them right away and still did not receive my RMA #. I called on Sunday and was told they do not work on Saturday and Sunday. I finally received the RMA # on Tuesday! It took a whole week to get that number. I do a lot of online shopping and have NEVER, EVER gone through something like this. I have ordered from high end boutiques to *** and everything in between including *** , *** , *** and *** . greatofferstock.com also does not offer any type of return label, so to return it myself cost *** and that was by USPS- the cheapest way. greatofferstock.com actually had the gall to suggest that you should really return it by UPS or FEDEX for your protection. Yeah right! Believe me I know that UPS and FEDEX are better than the USPS, but when it is on your dime I am going with the cheapest route. I made sure they were insured for the whole amount and that I got a signature on the delivery. The other thing with Great Offer Stock.com's returns is that they threaten you with the fact that you may not receive a full refund. They say they may only give you a percentage if everything is not perfect. I was kind of worried because even though I had only tried on the boots for a couple of minutes, they were pull on boots and the leather wrinkled with trying to get them on and off. Then there were a couple of microscopic nicks on the bottom of one shoe (I do not know if they were there to begin with.) It was obvious that somebody else had these shoes before me, because the tissue was very crinkled and the shoes did not have any king of packing in them. Plus, there was no dust bag. I was also worried I was going to get blamed for the missing dust bag. They also asked about the condition of the box, which was not perfect either because of shipping. Was I going to get blamed for that? The shoes had a tag on them that you would have to remove to wear them. I thought as long as I had not taken off that tag I would be fine as that is how a lot of places who sell high end things do this- so you do not wear and return. But, I was left worrying that was not going to be good enough. They tell you after an inspection they will let you know. Again, I have never encountered this with any high end returns. With Neiman Marcus, they do not even open the box when you return shoes. In the end, I did receive my full refund, but I will NEVER, EVER order anything from them again. Their return process is just not worth it. So my advice to anyone ordering something that they are not absolutely sure they are going to keep it, STAY AWAY FROM Great Offer Stock.COM! Try to get it somewhere else, anywhere else, or just forget it because it is just not worth it!
