I've never had real Uggs, but have a few pairs of Bearpaws, that I absolutely love. Thought I'd give these a try and see what the difference in money is. They are definitely comfortable and warm. However, when a really hard, cold wind blows, I can feel it on my toes. I don't wear socks with these or my other boots, since they're supposed to keep your feet warmer without them (the bearpaws definitely do). So, I have yet to wear these in rainy/snowy weather for fear that if wind can get in, so can water. For the price and the fact that they're comfortable, I'd recommend them for fall/winter, just dry days only. I'll stick to my bearpaws for the wet days.
