I need a battery for my 5 year Nintendo DS. I'm happy now since getting this I can play my games without the battery dying after an hour. But a weird thing happened. I was playing my Nintendo DS in a public area. A man in a mobility chair was about 3 feet away from me. He stopped his chair, while his was talking to someone. When he started up the chair to move, my Nintendo DS just stopped and froze during gameplay. It was making a high pitched hum, I could not turn off the game. . . the power was on but everything froze up. I ended up waiting until I got home to remove the battery and reboot the Nintendo DS. I am wondering if the original battery that is in the game system has a shield, so that nothing will interfere with your gameplay. As this battery can be affected by a powered mobility chair. The incident was funny, but weird too.
