Tone Loc's 1989 debut, " Loc'ed After Dark" was popular as I completed my High School Sophomore Year. It was the soundtrack of being liberated from the bottom rung of a 3 year high school and the beginning of the Summer Vacation. That last day, I bought it on Cassette (remember those? C:) at the mall music store after enjoying a lunch of 2 Burgers, Large Fries, And a Large Chocolate Shake. (Yes, I was a Fat Boys Fan at the time too.) It was, and is, deadpan humor at its best. An antidote to the too serious attitude of today's hip-hop, I think today's teens would enjoy him very much if they'd give him a try.
