Well written comparative account of the development by these 2 countries of a rather unique type of warship which captured the minds and hearts of many as the epitome of the sleek, powerful warships in the dreadnought era. this book provides the technical development and the operational use of these ships and does a good job of explaining what they were capable of doing and what they could not. Nice balanced account and operational history.
