works wonderfully on our California king bed

This blanket is warm, yet light weight. We love it!

Nice fit on California king bed. Washes and dries beautifully. I wash mine every week because I have two dogs that share the bed! It is summer weight. A blanket would need to be added for winter if you chill easily. Good value!

I wanted a light weight, primaloft, white, cotton blanket, with a stitched edge (not a 'silk' edge) This Blanket is exactly as described. I ordered this blanket with the Eddie Bauer Oversized Prima Loft Blanket because I wanted to compare them. They are so similar. I kept them both :) I have not washed them yet. If they do not wash well, I will update this review.

It's very pretty in person - the stripes are subtle and look classy. It's thinner than a down alternative comforter but not as thin as a lot of the down alternative blankets with the silk edges I've come across. The oversized queen sufficiently covers our pillow-top queen mattress with room to tuck under the sides. It's been comfortable to use here on the East Coast in early Fall with the a/c on or even with windows open. One piece of advice - the material is a little "noisy" if that kind of thing bothers you, but I'm happy with the purchase overall.
