    It is a cover that you can put a blanket or Comforter inside of. I have only ever had one and I didn't care for it but a lot of my friends use them and love them.

    I have washed these sheets, but only in cold water, but hot temp. on dryer, they are still undamaged and look great, actually I have washed them numerous times.

    yes, I've washed them in hot water and used the hot setting on the dryer, hoping to shrink them a bit as the pockets are way too deep and don't look finished on the bed, they always look like what they are....too big. As you can probably tell, they didn't shrink, and I'm not happy with the fit.

    First, I am afraid to buy on line because a photo and reality are often quite different. But I am assured I can return these sheets for a nominal shipping cost. Second I am afraid to purchase from you because I don't want to be spammed/"great offered" to death, but Karl assures me it he has removed my e-mail from the list of people who want to be spammed. So then, point 3, why these as opposed to other sheets? Frankly it is the lack of preferred choices. I would have preferred a more red than burgundy sheet (and am concerned these may be more purple than burgundy) and would have preferred a very smooth & soft sheet but that option does not exist. Of the options you can offer, these at least meet the fit criteria with the deep pocket, the fiber preference being all cotton, and have some hope of being a color that works for me.
